Calendar
The Arizona State Fair will run from Friday, October 1 through Saturday, October 30. The Fair is closed on Monday and Tuesday. This year the Fair will again be held at the Fairgrounds in Phoenix.
The Arizona Woodturner’s Association will demonstrate at the Arizona State Fair. We will have two lathes. There will be two shifts each day the Fair is open. One shift will be from 1100 AM to 3:00 PM; the second shift be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We will have four turners for each shift. This provides an opportunity to talk with those who are watching the turners. In addition, it provides with an opportunity to rest.
Participating at the Fair is an excellent opportunity to work with other turners, compare turning styles and to improve your technique.
If you would like to participate in the Fair, please email me.
